2. Modifications to Service and Pricing
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product or service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice.
PLATO AUSTRALIA will not be held liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of a product or service.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible, including colours, textures, and finishes. However, variations may occur due to differences in monitors, lighting, or natural material characteristics.
We reserve the right to limit sales of our products or services to any person, business, or region on a case-by-case basis, based on factors such as stock availability and compliance with local regulations.
4. Lead Times
Estimated lead times are 1–2 weeks, plus delivery. Please contact our team for current lead time estimates.
While we strive to meet nominated delivery dates, delays do not constitute a breach of contract. PLATO AUSTRALIA will not be liable for any loss, cost, or damage resulting from such delays.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of any significant changes to delivery timelines.
5. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment. To request a cancellation, please contact us via the Contact section of our website or by emailing info@platoaustralia.com
We aim to respond to all cancellation requests within 24 hours. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and will fall under our return policy.
6. Inspection Upon Delivery
Please inspect all products upon delivery. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery docket provided by the carrier and reported to PLATO AUSTRALIA within 24 hours of receipt.
We cannot accept responsibility for damages reported after this period. Please retain all original packaging until the inspection process is complete.
7. Returns and Refunds
We offer a 14-day return policy from the date of delivery for change-of-mind returns.
To be eligible for a return:
- The product must be unused and in its original condition.
- All original packaging and tags must be intact.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
To initiate a return, contact us via the Contact section of our website or email us at info@platoaustralia.com within 14 days of delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7 business days.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
8. Warranty
PLATO products are designed and built to last. Each product is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, modification, or accidents.
- Normal wear and tear, scratches, or natural variations in finishes.
- Damage resulting from exposure to extreme weather conditions or improper storage.
- Commercial or heavy-duty use beyond intended design specifications.
If you believe your product is defective, please contact our customer service team with proof of purchase and photos of the issue. We will assess the claim and, if approved, repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion.
9. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PLATO AUSTRALIA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, or business opportunities.
Our liability is limited strictly to the value of the product purchased.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
